1. Acceptance of these terms

By using omanosaura.com or booking any trip, adventure or activity with us, you (and anyone you book on behalf of) accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not make a booking.

In addition to accepting these terms online, every participant (or their guardian) must sign our liability waiver document on site before taking part in any activity. Participation is not permitted without a signed waiver.

2. Assumption of risk & liability waiver

Our experiences are outdoor and adventure activities (hiking, wadi trips, swimming, abseiling, climbing, ziplining and off-road travel) and carry inherent risks. These include, but are not limited to, personal injury, illness, disability or death, and theft of or damage to personal equipment.

By booking, you confirm that you participate voluntarily and assume responsibility for these risks. Omanosaura's management does not bear responsibility for accidents that occur because participants did not follow activity rules, did not listen to directions given by supervisors or employees, misused equipment, or slipped, tripped or fell on any of the tracks organised by the company.

Omanosaura is not responsible for supervising or following up on participants outside the designated activity areas.

3. Health requirements

By booking you confirm that your health condition allows you to participate in the activities, and that you do not suffer from any health conditions or chronic diseases that prevent you from participating safely.

You are responsible for informing us, before the trip, of any relevant health condition, whether yours or that of anyone you book for. Omanosaura bears no responsibility for consequences of health conditions that were not disclosed to us.

4. Children & guardians

For participants under 6 years old, the liability waiver must be signed by an accompanying person aged 18 or over, and children aged 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the experience.

A parent or guardian who books for a minor accepts these terms on the minor's behalf and remains responsible for the minor's supervision outside the organised activities.

5. Participant responsibilities

Participants must follow the directions of our guides and supervisors at all times, use all equipment as instructed, and observe the safety rules of each activity.

Omanosaura may exclude from an activity, without refund, any participant whose behaviour endangers themselves, other participants or our staff.

6. Bookings, prices & payment

All prices are shown in Omani Rial (OMR). Payment can be made online by card through Thawani, Oman's licensed payment gateway, or in cash on arrival where that option is offered.

A card booking is confirmed once payment completes; a cash booking is confirmed when we issue your confirmation email. Every confirmed booking receives a reference number, which you can find in your confirmation email and on your Purchases page.

Bookings close 24 hours before the trip day begins (00:00 Oman time on the trip date), the same deadline that applies to free cancellation and date changes.

7. Cancellation, rescheduling & refunds

You may cancel your booking or change its date free of charge until 24 hours before your trip day begins (00:00 Oman time on the trip date). For example, for a trip on the 10th, you can cancel or reschedule until the end of the 8th.

If you cancel a card-paid booking within the free-cancellation window, you receive a 100% refund of the amount paid, returned to your original payment method. Refunds are processed immediately on our side and typically appear within 3 to 14 business days depending on your bank.

Cash bookings involve no advance payment, so cancelling within the window is free and nothing is owed.

Within 24 hours of the trip day, bookings can no longer be cancelled or rescheduled, and no refund is due. This also applies if you do not show up for the trip.

You can cancel or reschedule directly from your Purchases page at omanosaura.com/purchases. Every cancellation or date change is confirmed to you by email.

8. Cancellation by Omanosaura

We may cancel or postpone a trip for reasons of weather, safety, insufficient group size, or other operational circumstances. We will notify you as early as possible using the contact details on your booking.

If we cancel your trip, you choose between a full 100% refund of any amount paid or a free reschedule to a new date.

9. Force majeure

Omanosaura is not liable for failure to perform its obligations where that failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, government actions or other force-majeure events. In such cases the operator-cancellation policy above applies.

10. Medical costs

Participants agree to bear responsibility for their own medical costs whenever necessary, including but not limited to ambulance services, hospital stays, medicines and pharmaceuticals, physiotherapy sessions, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation programmes. We recommend that participants hold suitable personal or travel insurance.

11. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Omanosaura and its exempted persons for any damages or losses (including attorney fees and costs) incurred by the company due to a lawsuit or claim filed by you, your child, or any other person in connection with your participation, and you waive any claim against Omanosaura in respect of damage that may arise from your participation in the activities, except where liability cannot be excluded under Omani law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed primarily in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

If any of these terms is determined to be void, invalid or unenforceable, that term is deemed void and the remaining terms remain valid, enforceable and binding.
